#4 Tuesday 13th October, 5.30pm, Location TBC: Making it real: experiences of enforcement in international criminal law
Presentedwith the aspirations of the internataional human rights system it can be disillusioning when enforcement seems unattainable. The final session of the Activate Series will bring together speakers who have worked at the coal face of legal human rights enforcement. What opportunities exist for young Australians to contribute to international legal processes?

Previous lectures in the series
The inaugural lecture kicking off the Activate Series was a great success, with students telling us that they were inspired by the speakers and some have started to seek volunteering opportunities. Shortly, links to volunteer and internship opportunities with the speakers’ organisations will be made available.

Getting Development Right: Current Campaigns for a Just World
As a young Australian, do you believe you are part of the generation that can eradicate extreme poverty? Not convinced? As you grapple with the different approaches to development, including what a rights discourse has to offer, think about what this looks like in action. What role could you play in the lives of the 1.4 billion who still live in extreme poverty?
